This traditional Chinese sesame ice cream gets a healthy upgrade with Botenz sesame butter powder. The rich, nutty flavor pairs with coconut cream for an indulgent texture that’s naturally vegan and loaded with plant protein. Perfect for hot summer days when you want dessert without compromise.
In a bowl, whisk sesame butter powder with 100ml coconut milk until completely smooth.
Gradually whisk in remaining coconut milk, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours until completely cold before churning.
In final 2 minutes of churning, add toasted sesame seeds if using for extra crunch.
Transfer to container and freeze for 2+ hours until scoopable. Serve in chilled bowls.
