We don’t treat peanut powder like a commodity.
Every batch is made with intention – not shortcuts.
We don’t treat peanut powder like a commodity. Every batch is made with intention – not shortcuts.
That’s why it tastes richer, cleaner, and more like real peanut butter.
We only use the best part of the nut

After roasting, we remove the outer shells and skins from every nut. Peanuts. Pistachios. Cashews. Each one.

Why? Because the shell and skin carry trace contaminants — and when you're making a powder that sits in a jar for up to a year, those traces matter. We keep only the cleanest, most flavorful part of the nut.

For pistachio, we go further. Every pistachio is hand-peeled down to the bright green-yellow flesh — the sweetest, purest center. We discard everything else. This raises our raw material cost by nearly 50%. But that's why Botenz pistachio powder actually tastes like pistachio — and looks like it too.
We only use the best part of the nut
Pressed like wine. not processed like flour.
The heart of our process is the cold press — a mechanical extraction method that slowly squeezes the oil out of roasted nuts without heat or chemicals.
This is the oldest way to extract oil from nuts and seeds. Long before industrial food, this is how families in Europe pressed olives and grapes, and how communities across India extracted oils from sesame and groundnuts. We use the same principle — patient, slow pressure that separates the oil without destroying what makes the nut valuable.
Each batch spends 2 to 4 hours in the press. That’s 2 to 4 hours per 5 kilograms. What comes out: a dry, protein-dense powder with all the flavor of the original nut — because nothing was burned, stripped, or chemically altered.

Roast
Peanuts are gently-roasted to unlock their natural aroma and flavour

Slow Cold Press
Each batch of 5kg is slow pressed
for 2-4 hours

Grind and Blend
The oil is gently released, leaving behind a dry, nutrient-rich base.

Carefully Hand Packed
Every Botenz jar is filled, weighed, sealed, and finished by hand
5 kilos at a time
Every batch of Botenz powder produces about 5 kilograms of finished product. That's roughly 29 jars.
Mass-produced powders run through hundreds of kilograms per batch on automated lines. The economics make sense — but the quality doesn't. When you process 500kg at once, you can't inspect every nut. You can't catch a batch that roasted unevenly. You can't adjust mid-process.
At 5 kilos, we can. And we do.
Packed by hand
Every Botenz jar is filled, weighed, sealed, and finished by hand.
The cloth you see on top of every jar is tied by our team — one jar at a time, secured with natural jute twine. In Indian villages and across traditional European kitchens, glass jars were always sealed with cloth — a breathable layer between the lid and the contents. We brought that tradition into modern packaging.
Each cloth is cut, placed, and tied by hand — by the same people who packed the powder inside.
Tested. transparent. open.
We test every product through Equinox Labs — an independent, NABL-accredited laboratory. Nutritional
composition, aflatoxin safety, contaminant screening.
The results aren't hidden in a filing cabinet. They're published at botenz.in/lab-tests/ — because if you're asking people to trust what they eat, you should show them the proof.
We also meet European Union food safety regulations — which are up to 10 times stricter than Indian FSSAI
standards. We hold ourselves to this standard because we export to countries that require it — but more importantly,
Because we believe Indian consumers deserve the same rigor.
Nothing is Wasted
Cold-pressing produces two things: powder and oil. The powder goes into your jar. The oil — pure, cold-pressed nut oil — goes to our team and to people in the community who need it. We don't sell it.
It’s a small choice, but an intentional one. In a system where excess is often ignored, we choose to pay attention. Every output of the process is respected for what it offers.
We don’t sell it. We don’t discard it. Food should nourish everyone.
